The paper and forest product

port for the future

One of our core principles at UK Paper Hub is our responsibility to support the people, infrastructure and the world around us. From enhancing economic and environmental sustainability, to promoting the health and wellbeing in the lives we touch – we do this by fully supporting our group wide initiatives as an integral part of Port of Tilbury and Forth Ports Group.

UK Paper Hub is proud to make a progressive contribution to the environment and bioeconomy. We play an active role in our shared sustainable future by collaborating with customers and partners to help reduce all forms of waste within the supply chain, as well as through the implementation of meticulous best practice. This includes green initiatives, such as the use of renewable energy, where 79% of the Port of Tilbury’s own electricity use comes from 4 wind turbines operating within the port.
